What have 'fat' people done to make 'skinny' people dislike them?

Even though I'm not over weight, I would never make fun of someone who was over weight and might have a medical condition...

Because people think they are lazy and stupid. (Not that I agree....but that is the general consensus I have seen.) Everybody has some problems. Some people have a food addiction, while the people making fun of them may be "skinny", but they probably have a drug addiction.

Society seems to underlook the situtiation. This is the way it has always been since the beggining of time. Racismn is defined as, "The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. " Should we call prejudice against fat, soory, overweight people racism. Of course.
But might i also point out that while you think all overweihght people are the ones getting "racially abused", consider this. Us skinny people don't like being called skiiny either. You ever walked up to someone and said, :Mam, youre skinny" No, you don't do that. In the same way society makes fun of overweights does it skinny. I am a skinny man and i get a lot of funny comments. Lastly, we don't hate you. We just wish you were more like us.
I always leave with this quote, "When you give up the ability to choose, you give up what make you....you.

I guess they make fun of obese people because...i'm not sure...I guess in today's world all the famous people and people in magazines are thin,and so if you are not thin you are considered ugly.This is entirely not true.I like all people of all color and size because it only matters about your personality.And to be honest,my mom,sister,best friend,and 4 aunts of mine are obese but I love them all like crazy because they are good people.

One of my friends cousin said that fat people make america a poor and ugly country. I'm not saying it is. But you know its kind of wrong.

I have no idea.I am fat and this is a question that runs through my head all the time.I'm smart,funny and I love people & it really hurts when people look at you and disregaurd me in a single glance...........this question has made me really sad.
