My husband and I have been seperated for eleven years. We have been talking for about 6 months now over the phone only. We have not seen each other at all in these eleven years. We both realize that we still love each other, but of course in 11 years alot has happened. ( I have 3 children which of course are not his)( he has spent a lot of time in prison). We are both scared to death but think that maybe we should try to see if this could work. What do ya'll think?

Our discussions have been about what has changed about us over the years so we are trying to get to know each other again.

You have both changed a lot in those 11 years. You are not the same young people who feel in love back then. As long as you go into this relationship realizing he is different now you may have a chance. Have a long discussion about things. Keep the communication open. Who know? It may be great for both of you. If things don't work out - at least you know you tried.

If you're just separated, give it a shot. You've not going to lose anything more than you've already lost, so the worst that could happen is that you'll be back where you are right now.....
