depends what you're looking for, Cingular has rollover, but you pay more for it (as in you get less whenever minutes for the same price as the comp) T-Mobile will give you a crapload of minutes for cheap, but they don't rollover...but then again you don't really have to worry about going over your minutes cuz you can check from your phone how many you've used and if you start going over you can make a new plan retroactive and get rid of your overage. Cingular is OK...they have more coverage but it's crappy coverage, and if you never go to the middle of nowhere who cares if they have coverage there or not. T-Mobile has a coverage map they can show you exactly where they have coverage so you can check before you sign up. sprint just plain blows....my best friend had sprint and would roam in his house but not in back or front yard...they finally switched to t-mobile. As far as a phone goes.......go with a motorola or nokia. doesn't matter which one, those are just the most reliable brands. samsung is ok but they are cheap looking and always have problems.

You haven't said what you're looking for or what your phone usage would be.

If you usually don't use all the minutes from your monthly plans, Cingular is the way to go. Cingular allows you to carry forward unused anytime minutes for 12 months, which is very useful whenever the number of calls you make or receive spikes.

If you just want more minutes, T-Mobile has some excellent plans for anytime minutes.

Go for Nokia or Sony Ericcson phones. Or, the Motorola Razr is still a very hot phone right now.
