The Silverado has a better ride and is more comfortable. I just bought one after checking around.

I would go with the Silverado. I hear bad things about the Durango (poorly made, will crumble in a collision, faulty engines, etc). However, I am no car expert, so do your research. Good luck and congrats on your new wheels!

Well do you want a Pick-Up or SUV. Thats your first factor (Durango=SUV, Silverado=Truck). Next if you want alot of options and features, Durango is it. If you want reliability, go with Silverado. And if you want power, it depends of which version of each you get (Durango has an optional Hemi, though).

Nothin' runs or resells like a Chevy You also might consider a GMC if you plan on using this truck cause they are commercial grade with an Allison tranny( just like the M1 A1 Abrahms tank

My buddy has a Durango and it's a pretty nice ride. It has the Hemi and the exhaust has a deep growl. The only down side is that he spends $100 a week on gas.

I think Dodge is known for experiencing problems, but I'm sure that can happen with any brand car. Try websites like vehix.com or autotrader.com which have comparison options. Also, try to get feedback from people who have owned the specific types of truck you are looking to buy.
