It could be muscles & ligaments stretching.
It could be something worse. Call your doctor.
God Bless You, ;-)

Definately call your doctor ASAP. Although it could be just a UTI, But still needs to be treated with antibiotics. You also may be one of the few women who have Braxton Hicks contractions at an early stage in pregnancy. Don't tempt fate. See your OBGYN. The sooner you see the doc the sooner you will feel better about knowing whats going on.

You should see a doctor ASAP. When I miscarried a year ago, I had sharp pains (It feel like a knife stabbing at me) on my lower stomach. It took a few days for me to miscarry because I had to let my body allow itself to pre-abort (something like that) that's what the doctors call it) because the baby was dead inside of me. Sweetie my prayers are with you, I know how painful and hard it is. So please go to the emergency tonight. The earlier you know, the better chances your baby has. Let me know of the outcome.

I had sharp pains and the pains scared me and I went to the hospital right away. Well with me the pains were associated with my muscles expanding so quickly. But it is very wise to check with your doctor in case it is something much more serious.

It could be just cause the baby is streching your belly out.Or it could be Braxton Hicks. After 20 weeks they are something normal. It feels like you have cramps and your belly may get tight.Or you could have a bladder infection.I would call your doctor in the morning and ask him if you can come in for a visit.Good Luck!

It is normal to have pain around 15-16 weeks because your uterus is stretching. Look up online what to expect at your stage and that will be one of the symptoms.

my sister had sharp pains throughout her pregnancy. her doctor told her it was something called braxton-hicks contractions (spelling?) and they are normal. but if you're really concerned go see your doctor. it would be a good idea either way because every pregnancy is different.

you could be having a false alarms, but if you feel uncomfortable then you need to have it checked to make sure the baby is ok. i had them with my youngest son. it seemed like almost every month i was hurting and they were false alarms. it could also be you being under stress. i was under a lot of stress. my husband was abusive to me so it made it very hard. good luck and go get checked ok

this is often caused from baby growing bigger and 'settling in' to your pelvis, plus your pelvis (and everything else) is stretching to accomodate your growing baby. Some people notice it more than others. However, you should go to your Dr ASAP and put your mind at rest and double check that it is only that.
