Truth or dare?
Where does the question of selecting one of the other arises? In fact date is a prereauisite for truth.
Even if you dare to go against truth as you knew at the time and even proving that it was not thr truth it does not diminish any of the glory of truth. The truth you establish is the new truth, though truth it is.The truth you initially stood against was an untruth.
Columbus expedition was overtly against the truth of the flat earth which he dared to challenge. When he succeeded he only established a new version of the truth.Galileo's displacement of earth from the central position in the galaxy was another attempt overtly daring to challenge truth but not the real truth but the then edition of t ruh.
The philosophers say that the real nature of truth will perhaps never become known. Truth can only reveal its real nature too truth itself.Till then it would always be one theory displacing the others claiming to be the real truth.
