Live another 5 years but die with family and friends around you?

unique question. I would definitely take the live to the age of a 100 though. 5 years is not long and I'm too young to die just yet! of course if the living to 100 is all pain and being unhealthy and suffering then I'll take the 5 years.

My personal experience is it's not always best having the family around when a death is involved. It seems to bring out the worst in people(especially when money/will issues are involved). And the beheading is at least quick and from what I've read painless. I would miss not seeing my friends and family when I die but we go alone anyway. They won't be coming with me when I go.

If I was guaranteed to live to the age of 100, I would choose to live it with all my friends and family around.

No one needs to be concerned with my death at 100, by myself, and no one finding my body. I am not my body. Also being beheaded -- at 100 I don't know that I would care.

So I choose life until 100.

Who wants to be beheaded? And why would I want family and friends to watch me die? I may as well fake my death just to see who turns up at the funeral. When I'm gone I'm gone. I am no longer of this earth. Maybe if I leave a good looking corpse people can look at me until I decompose and the fun is over. But it doesn't really matter.

Sometimes the family and friends you come out of may prove out to be more harmful (like a slow death) than getting beheaded somewhere in exile. I'd choose being slaughtered mercilessly if that happens to be the scenario. However, till I get to see my guillotine, I should be allowed to live peacefully with other fellow human beings.

I came into this world alone, I guess I'm going out the same way..
having family and friends near would be nice.. more for them I would think. No, maybe for me as well.. I could tell them all how very much I love them, and how wonderful it is to have them all in my life. I'd hope that they already know that though.. just in case ..

You people would waste your life-- to have the selfish desire fulfilled-- to have people watch you die, to be mourned in life, to have a funeral? It means 80 years to you--- bathos.

I will die alone regardless whether or not I am surrounded by people. A pit crew for my biological hazards. An entourage for my opiated eyes. Feed my body to the wild wolves, ffs. I will do it myself rather than die antiseptically.
