I have a Dolby Digital MP-C827 Mp3 player

no. this mp3 player doesnt have the capabilities to expand the storage, but hey, for $20 what did you expect??? if you want to expand the memory of your mp3 player, spend some bucks and get an uber cool one...if you just want to play some tunes and dont care if you have to hook up to the computer every once in a while to change some tracks, just spend the $20...looks like a nice little unit.

Get a different memory card.
