Worked for same employer for many years, had promotions, how do I document position changes on a resume?

Question

I worked for the same employer over 10 years, and started at entry level, and left as a technical analyst. How to I show on my resume that I have had a lot of experience and job titles, but all with the same employer?

Technical Analyst Feb. 2005 - Present


Jr. Technical Analyst Oct. 2001 - Feb. 2005


Data Entry Sep. 1994 - Oct. 2001


Just list the jobs like in a regular resume, with a 'headline' above.

On my resume, I gave an employer I had been with for several years and promotions a single heading with the entire range of my time with them, with a brief overview of the skills and accomplishments (big picture contributions) during my tenure. I then listed the individual positions with brief descriptions of duties and accomplishments I had not already covered.

Not sure if this will work, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway. Maybe you can fill in your current position info and indent underneath it for each of your other positions with the company. Hope that helps?!?

one ask your employer to right a letter of reference for you if there is a personnel office they should have you accomplish mentor's on file .
or tell it like it is and tell them this is were you started of and this is were you are now that you did it on job training instead of going to collage to get to this point and hand hands on is better then school with know experience only school behind you

just write it in along with the dates, per position, then describe the increasing responsibility.
