Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you’re allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck =) BTW, I know some of these may sound bizarre but try them…what have you got to lose other than the acne!!
1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.
2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It’s supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.
3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.
4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.
5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.
6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.

Well 4 long term, the best acne remover is water! U just drink at least three glasses a day and the results will be totally amazing skin. However us, who always have breakouts at odd times, the best treatment i've seen and used is the Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream. Tho the name doesn't appealing it's really good. It doesn't take away the acne immediately but it conceals it a great deal and days later that pimple or blemish is history! Good Luck!

Honestly the best thing I found is to use antibiotics with a retin-a gel. If you have moderate acne or worse, the over the counter methods do not work all the time and the longer you have it, the more you risk getting permanant scars. See a dermatologist

Proactive. Also try one of those spot treatments like Clearisil or Clean and Clear, they all have them. They're medicated spot treatments. If the acne is triggered by your period, you can go on the pill, it helps to stabilize your hormones and you break out less. Also watch your diet, drink a lot of water. Your diet has a surprisingly high affect on your skin.

you won't find much that will "remove" what you have, you wan to clear it up. i use neutragena and it works well. use it twice a day...as follows:
wash with a deep cleanser and warm water...make sure you rinse it off well. the warm water opens pores and washes out the acne causing bacteria dirt.
pat your face dry and use a toner....this will close your pores
then use an oil-free moisturizer with sunscreen. this will moisturize your skin and keep it from pumping out excess oil (oil clogs pores), and it will protect your skin from damaging UV rays from the sun (these cause sunspots - brown discolorations, age spots, and can cause cancer)....moisturizers are for guys too. :)
make sure you do this morning and night and use the OIL-FREE products and you should see results in about a week to 10 days...if not sooner. if you don't see anything getting better, consult a dermatologist because you could need a prescription to get rid of it. but....no matter what anyone else on here says...DO NOT USE ALCOHOL to clear up your skin!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this only causes your skin to become excessivly dry and your pores to become clogged with dead skin and start pumping out more and more oil to keep it from being dry....thus clogging pores and causing more acne breakouts. trust me on this. ok

I have used proactive and it made my skin worse.. I would say go to health food store and buy a bottle of clay for a mask it's about 13.00 and add a dab to each zip before you go to bed. The clay will dry the zits out in a few days and eat fruits and veggi's..:) Good Luck
