Hazardous Materials are what the Federal Government has deemed a Haz Mat. Different criteria apply depending on the Haz Mat. It is far too complicated to get into here.

Used oil; degreasers that are used to clean parts; Anything that could be hazmat and the state usually on the packaging tells you if it is hazardous and how to dispose of it. Brake oil: Transmission oil: and coolant that you use in your radiator. This too if it has a leak is very fatal to a child or animal lapping it up could cause death.Battery acid; paints like lead base paints and laquer thinners; and theres alot more.....................

bleach, oil based paint, alkyds, petrolium distilates, ammonia, nuclear waste, medical waste, the stuff that comes out yo buttt, sewage? need more ?
