i heard something about an expansion pack of the sims 2, and it's the "Pets" version. Is that true? Or is it something that will be created in the future? If it is true, then would you happen to know where i could buy it and what is the lowest price?

Sims 2 pets is not out yet. Maxis/EA had a preview of their games at E3... and it had a short video that showed sims playing with dogs. Gamespot has a review of EA at E3. Here is that site:
