I don't really have any personal experience with someone snoring in bed with me. I do however have personal experience dealing with a person who snores. My father has snored in some fashion since I was a very small child. My Mother finally got tired enough after my sister left for college and booted my Dad out of the room and down to my end of the house. (thanks, Mom...maybe that was her way of getting me out too?) I digress....He was the type of snorer that could quite literally suck the tiles off the ceiling. you could hear him through closed doors and walls....over televisions it didn't matter. There are the usual things people use to get someone to stop snoring...
1. The elbow in the ribs to wake them up.
2 Breathe Right Strips.....Dad snored louder and better than he ever had.
3. Rolling over on the stomach....no such luck Dad was persistent.
4. The spray.....didn't work for us, but may be different for others
5. and final.....a sleep disorder clinic. Found out Dad has sleep apnea (quits breathing during sleep, and enlarged adenoids and tonsils.) So...he now has a C-pap (machine that forces air up his nose) viola snoring has stopped.
Hope this helps.... =)

He doesn't snore when he takes a hit off of an asthma inhaler, go figure. He doesn't have asthma but it works for snoring. He didn't start snoring until he put on weight but I would miss his chubbs so I just sleep in baby's room if it's so bad I can't sleep.

Yes, my husband and my mother both snore horribly. They have Sleep Apnea, which is when someone snores INCREDIBLY loud and has gaps in their breathing while asleep. They need to have a sleep study done and diagnosed by a doctor, then they use a breathing machine while they sleep.
Undiagnosed sleep apnea can lead to stroke and brain damage.

When I feel tired. I snore really bad. Sleep Apnea is the problem and I have a CPAP machine to help me with the problem.

I go to bed at different times, often after midnight. I'm not married so I don't have to deal with anyone snoring.
