I'm planned on getting the patch or the pill, I'm not sure which yet, but I have no idea what kind of price range to expect. I heard that planned parenthood is cheaper, so that's where I'm going. I have no insurance, am 17 and living with my parents, and I have a very low income. what should I expect to pay?

they are pretty cheap, but the pill costs A LOT more then the patch, but the pill is more effective. you should just go there adn talk with one of the staff. they wont steer you wrong.

the patch is just as effective as the pill by the way, my gyno told me that and i used it for 2 years after i had my son. i am going on it again after i have my first period since my daughter was born. lol no she wasn't concieved on the patch. i went off it and about 8 months later i got pregnant. the regular price for the patch is $42 at the pharmacy i use so i would hope planned parenthood wouldn't charge that much. by the way i wouldn't go to planned parenthood, the first question they ask when they tell you you're pregnant is "are you going to have an abortion?" because they sell your aborted baby. look it up, there's even prices for the pieces of baby. it's sick and planned parenthood does it.

the pill you have to take at the same time everyday or you're screwed, the patch you change once a week and it doesn't have to be at the same time, just the same day. i remember times where i was a day or 2 late because i forgot and i was still protected.

Hi. Planned Parenthood is the cheapest and if you would rather not let your parents know then that's the right place. However...(yep, I'm an old person : ) )), I STRONGLY recommend using condoms until you settle down with one person and after a STD test for ya both. There are way too many nasties out there to gamble with your life for some quick fun. Remember oral sex is just as dangerous. I know 6 girls with HIV under 20 personaly and one of them has had only oral sex (she received HIV after performing it). Good luck and take care.

Remember, it's not safe sex unless it's completly safe sex.

Planned Parenthood works off of a program that determines price off of how much you make.
They also honor your privacy, so you don't need insurance.

Congrats on praticing safe sex.

They probably wont charge you for the fact that you are a minor and have a low income. I know that they will give you tons of condoms for free!

well i go there and i am on the shot . and its not exactly honest but if you tell them you dont work then itll most likely be free but always donate at least a couple dollars. like me i work an 8 dollar an hr job and they base it on your income so the most i have ever paid for the shot is 12.50 .
