move back to it's internationally recognized borders and build a wall around thei country if they want.

Think about it, it is impossible to wage war on a discrete terrorist group. It's as if everyone thinks there is a Hezbollah "homebase" or "mothership" that Israel has the capacity to destroy. the fact is...they DON'T and people are dying by the hundreds each day because of it.
I thought that the world learned to avoid attacking cities after the United States destroyed two cities in Japan with the ugliest show of massive destruction in the world's history, but apparently some world leaders think otherwise.
the frustrating part about this, is the immense support the United States', not only leaders - but citizens, have called for. I don't think that we as a people are able to see the amount of destrction and chaos that is going on across the world to INNOCENT people who may or may not support Helbollah.
Does the world REALLY need another war?

Because Hezbollah are a bunch of cowards and they hide among the civilian population so that when Israel shoots back civilians get hit and then they show the pictures to gullible people such as yourself to get sympathy.

Israel dropped hundreds of thousands of leaflets telling innocent people to vacate the area. In addition, they are allowing humanitarian aide to get to the displaced people and are planning a reconstruction effort to rival the Marshall Plan. Keep in mind, these are the same people that were compacent with Hezbollah. They helped hide them and were won over by Hezbollahs social services. But, Hezbollah calls for the elimination of the country of Israel. Therefore, Israel must try to destroy Hezbollah, or at the very least reduce their ability to strike out at Israel.

Exactly what Hezbollah does. oh yeah...you forgot skermishes across a recognized State's border, murdering soldiers & kidnapping and expecting no revenge? If Hezbollah hides in Mosques, among civilian women & children, Lebanon should have followed UN resolution 1559. And disbanded Hezbollah.

Re the UN outposts - who in their right minds puts an observer team on the top of Khiam, a Hezbollah stronghold, in a time of war??? The result could have been foretold by a 5 year old!

Because Hizbollah likes to hide among the innocent Lebanese. Suppose, now, that the shoe were on the other foot: Israel had been bombarding Lebanon for years, and Israeli soldiers had captured some Lebanese citizens. What would Lebanon be justified in doing?

Given that Hezbollah is in fact part of the Lebanese government, I'd have to conclude that the are a reflection of Lebanon -- that a sizable portion of Lebanon is coupled to Hezbollah. In a word, Hezbollah AND the general population are hard to separate.
