I stayed with my sons's father for 7 seven years I found out he was cheating on me because he came on smelling like "sex'..instead of putting him out...He paid all my bills and slept on the couch and I came and went as I please.

Yes, I think that it wrong. Also having that situation it give the wrong message to your son or other children. Even though he may have been out of the house or young it gives him the wrong impression. It sets that precedent on how he thinks marriage, relationships are like. A happy home is what you want to give him. and having daddy sleeping on the couch and no good communication or resentment sends him the wrong signal. It is good for revenge bad for your child psychologically. emotionally and maybe physically.. also bad for dad and you..
But it is a good way to get back if you wanted that..
Also if you can prove he cheated than divorce him. you could get more money out of him and hurt him more..
go to a therapist with him and you and your kid or kids

He cheated on you, not you on him so don't feel that bad. He deserves worse than what he got with paying for those bills. Another thing is, he probably paid all those bills regardless because of what he did and his guilt was most likely eating at him. So NOPE, it's not wrong at all.

no its not necessarily wrong...but, are you willing to continue to have low self esteem and respect for yourself to allow him to continue to do that? is money worth your self respect? what kind of example are you setting for your son? he's going to grow up thinking its OK to treat women the way his dad does...
if he is supporting his son like he should, paying the bills should be expected! not a trade off for him to continue to see other women while he is with you...
just something to think about...

Heck yes...if he cheated on you then he can do the least and pay your bills to try to get your trust back. (What an A$$ to cheat).

It may not be wrong but It sure ties you up and keeps you from raising a family with someone you love

There are two different issues. He is still your husband? he can still pay your bills. After divorcing him it would be wrong to let him pay.
