Stick, I can get better gas mileage out of them because it's me feeling when it needs to change gears and not the car trying to do it for me when it shouldn't or not fast enough.

i prefer manual transmission cause it gives u more power and speed when driving and u feel more in control of the vehicle but in the traffic i have to use automatic for it is more comfortable
so if u r like me then u can go with these new transmission that have both automatic and manual transmissions i guess they r called steptronic or something like that but it is not as good as manual due to the absence of the clutch which could be used to give an extra boost to the car while driving fast.

Depends on the car. For a daily driver, I prefer a stick for better fuel mileage. In a sunday go-to-racin performance car or 4x4 truck, I prefer an automatic.

What I prefer in a car~A/C, power seats, power windows, CD player, gasoline or some other type of fuel to make it go, seat belts, my husband, my daughter, her car seat, some Cd's, my purse, something to drink, my key for the doors and the ignition, power seats, a V8, etc., etc., etc.
Auto or manual transmission~auto, because I can't drive a manual

when i first learned how to drive, it was an auto transmission so it's easier for me, but i want to learn how to drive a stick transmission

p.s. I think everyone should out learning to drive a stick. After learning, the automatic is easy: just fire it up, put it in drive and stab the gas pedal.

stick is way better. faster, more fuel efficient, and funner to drive. plus less things to go wrong....
