it's tomorrow, and i was planning on wear a black dress and high heels. or should i wear this dressy top and black leggings with heels? would that look tacky? too casual? i don't know.

Hi.
You are 14,and you should look fresh and youthful,leave the black dress for when you are older.
A dress for a formal event is a great idea,but choose it in a nice summer color(that is if you are in the northern hemisphere).
You should be tan by now so a nice pastel color or white will do great with your skin tone,remember choose cold colors or pastel cool colors if you are brunette or have dark hair,and warm colors or warm pastels if you are blond or red haired.
High heels are great,a pretty sandal with embellishments will be a touch of style.
