I'm confused as to which skylight to install. I'm reroofing. (2nd layer of shingles). I'm looking at Velux venting skylight.

A curb mounted sky lite is mounted on a curb style frame which is raised off the roof sheathing. A deck sky lite sits on the sheathing.
Please be very careful with the Velux Sky lites. Try to get one with a step flashing kit. The Velux sky lites that call for seating in a flashing cement are nothing but future problems.

all i use is velux......get the curb style, and get the flashing kit for it! easy to install, if hole is already the right size u can install it in about 30 mins by ur self!
