you need to be talking and asking them. You need to tell them how you feel. Are you the older or younger sister. Are you both the children of both your parents. Are you exagerating the situation. Too many questions. Talk to your parents!!!!!!!

well, it could be many things. Does she make better grades? Is she older? Is she the youngest? Or (and I really hope this is not the case but sadly it does happen) are you really both their kid?
I'm the oldest of 4 girls so I always got new clothes and 60% of the time my sisters got hand-me-downs
I always got more "presents" because my grades were always higher than my other sisters.
The youngest always got more affection from my mom cause she was her last baby. And since she always tagged along to shoping trips she got more goddies when we chose not to go.
Now the two younger of 4 girls got many more liberties at a certain age (for example me and the second born did not got to a movie with friends till she was 17 and I was 18, the two youngest were going out at ages 13 and 14) because my parents were too old and too tired to be strict as they were with me and my younger sis. What happened? My sis and i finished high school and are currently trying to finish college. The two younger, one dropped out of high school and the other barely graduated and has not made any effort to go to college. Plus they have had problems with drugs and bad school records. So in the end I am glad my parents were harsher on us older girls.
On the "are you really their kid thing". A friend of my dad (lets call him Frank) married some chick who had a 2 year old boy from a previous marriage. They did the cruel thing and raised the boy thinking "Frank" was his real dad. Everything was very nice at first, until they had other kids. Frank treated his "own" kids way better, giving them more toys, more affection, and giving the eldest more restictions and punishments. When the boy asked why his dad treated him different, they lied and said because he loved him and wanted to be successful and care for his younger siblings. That pissed me off and i wanted to tell him the truth, but my mom told me I was in no position to interfere with other people's personal business.
But assuming that is not the case, talk to your parents. maybe there is a reason she has more liberties. If they are fair and she is simply older, then it is natural to allow her to go out more often after a certain age and once you reach that age I hope they would be wise enough to be no different.

Are you the younger sister? Sometimes older siblings get to do things first and that's frustrating for their younger sibs. Tell your parents how you feel. Ask them why, but don't whine. Also, talk to them when they aren't tired and have time to explain to you.

How old is your sister? I'm assuming she is older...in that case...don't be upset about it, because she is making it easier for you later. You will be able to say that your older sis was allowed to do this and that at such and such age, so therefore it should be o.k. for you, too.
