No - not a peppermint but you can buy over the counter remedies which do smell like peppermint (I cant think of the name of it at the moment, it is a remedy that has been around for many years - your pharmacy will be able to tell you) It helps to make baby burp and bring up their wind which as you know can be very painful for babies if not rectified. When baby is having a bottle it is very important to stop feeding at least halfway and burp them - this can take sometime for some babies - just try different positions - over the shoulder, propped sitting forward on your lap etc. - good firm pats on the back, rubbing and pressing from base of spine in an upwards motion all helps. If baby does have wind then she will not take much more of her feed - if this happens then you know she still has windies

it is supposed to help with upset stomach and gas. I never did that. If my kids had a problem with gas I would put gas drops in their bottles and that helped.

It's supposed to help relieve colic. I never noticed a difference and felt more comfortable using mylicon drops from walmart.
