You are right. He is the worse. Not even close to the brilliants player your country has. And as a person, as you point out, he is horrible also. Not even close to the honest men and virtuous women of your country, where morality is the rule. Specifically against drugs, your country is the best. I wish I was born in your country, to be proud, as you are. Congratulations.

Maradona is the best soccer player the world has ever seen.
It will make no difference if he is a communist or not.
He had taken drugs....., but all that was in the past.
He is now a highly changed man.
He is the one who has overcome all the evil influences that once engulfed his life.
He is simply too good.
Of course, I'll never say that there are no other players who were his equals; but what I admire in him is his new life.

Maradonna was one of the best players of the game of soccer, but his other behavior was quite horrible, with the drugs and handballs and everything, but he is still a great soccer player.

WINNIE THE POO, just shut up you probably weren't even born when Maradona played football. he won everything the world cup 86, Italian tittle 2 times he was simply the best player ever to play football. most people say he dives well, he didn't just the defenders from the other teams had to tackle him in order to stop him he has broken his leg several times cause of bad tackles. and for Maradona being at the game cheering with the fans was awesome... Maradona was a wonderfull player, a terrible person. To call someone the worst at his sport due to his actions away from the game is silly.
The worst player who gained any world wide attention has to be Saadi Gadhafi. The only reason he gain any attention at all was due to his father, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

Yes u'r right egil .. Maradona is truly not worthy .... I mean he goes to see his country play in WC finals as one of the commoners in the stadium and cheer for his team lik that. He shud have more dignity, stay suited up ... prim and proper ... he shudn't be so over excited abt his team as he was this time, nor even so roudy ... he shud control his passions abt his country. And why does he have to stay their in Argentina after making so much of name and fame?????
