I love it, but I didn't like that whole "one year later" bit at the end of last season, it makes me nervous for this new season. It's still 1000 times better than the original.
Prison Break, Lost, and the Shield kick butt too.

BSG is an edgy dark show unlike the original. I find the look of the show too dark.
What I do like is Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. The shows are beautiful. The characters are likeable. The subjects charming and thought provoking without having the slut of the week scenes. They are well written and cleverly filmed. The themes are about hope and the future with respect for one another.
Watching Starbuck bed hop from one guy to the next is a bore. It dumbs down a complex character. However, watching Mary McDonnell is a pleasure.

I really like the new Battlestar Galactica, it is my favorite sci-fi show. I'm a fan of almost anything sci-fi.

Was more of a Star Wars fan myself. Was never really into Galactica.
