Here’s a chance to wax rhapsodic, get downright sci-fi or exercise a measure of soapbox Orwellian nightmare. The question is simple but interesting to contemplate (if you’re into this type of thing); what do you think the future of the human race will be as the eons pass? To make this easy for you I decided to divide this into 5 eons, what I want is for you to tell me what you think the human race will be like during these times or if they will even exist any more. The ages are:
2100 AD
5000 AD
10,000 AD
50,000 AD
1,000,000 AD
If you feel like just summarizing it all up that’ll be fine or if you want to divide it up into smaller parts that’ll be good too.
I’m off of work for the next two days and I need a diversion from packing boxes for my move near the end of August.

2100 AD
China and the USA begin open war with Mega corporations. the Mega corps win due to more money (from off world resource development) and first generation AI soldiers
5000 AD
Earth has a population of 50 million humans, mostly atavistic throwbacks protected by loyal AI servants/Teachers the rest merged with cyber beings and left to explore the galaxy.
10,000 AD
Humans are available as genetic code source and raised by reverent AI's as holy progenitor beings.
50,000 AD
AI's only remember humans as historical creatures but revere them the way modern humans revere the sabre toothed cat and dinosaurs
1,000,000 AD
Creatures genetically created by humans in the 22 century and left to their own devices, uplift mysteriously and begin their turn as Earth's dominant life form.
Whether they evolved naturally or are being manipulated by unseen human or AI vestiges is never know by them.

2100 AD
First wave of Reptilian attacks on humans begin. Within 6 months, 80% of humans have been killed or enslaved. The other 20% have managed to stay underground, fighting the Reptilians in a nearly futile attempt at survival.
5000 AD
Having abused and depleted the human race into almost complete extinction, and having depleted all resources available on the Earth, the Reptilians move to another planet.
With no food, water, or supplies of any kind, the last humans pass into a historical oblivion.
The Earth is a barren and uninhabitable wasteland. None of the interstellar races even pass by the Earth until the end of time.

Unfortunately, we're overdue for an Extinction Level Event (E.L.E.) caused by a 10km Asteroid hit....they hit the earth every 25 to 30 million yrs...
It is difficult to date fossils accurately enough to produce a reliable result, but most studies of this hypothetical cycle suggest that another mass extinction would be due in little more than 10 million years. There is abundant evidence that we are currently living in the middle of a man-made Holocene extinction event.
Periodic large scale vulcanism along continental rifts may include eruption events named verneshots which launch gigatonnes of rock into sub-orbital trajectories. The consequent impacts are expected to have very similar effects to asteroid impacts.
Of course, lets not forget global thermonuclear war and the subsequent nuclear winter. All the ELEs have a probability of happening at any time... So far, we have beaten the odds, but probability has a way of catching up to you.

If u are talking about humans in general well I think we will have no trouble surviving. If you are talking about our "advanced" civilization then I think we probably wont make it to 2100 A.D. Here is my theory (if u wanna call it that) (crazy paranoid delusion just doesn't have the same charm to it.) Here is the setting: 2020: The smaller conflicts brewing within the Middle East explode into a full region conflict with Israel and the U.S. (which by then has turned Iraq, and Afganistan into full U.S. Protecterates for security reasons) on one side and Russia and China (which have divided up Iran as their own personal oil field) on the other. Russia has reunited the USSR with the exception of Ukraine which has joined the european union with Victor Ushenko as its leader (of the european Union). Latin America has united under Hugo Chavez and has now become Nuclear powered. Africa is now united as one sovereign government with (as yet to be named leader) in charge. (email me in a few days I need time to work that part out). The U.S. is now a dictatorship under Barack Obama (I think he has the charisma to do it sorry) (I really do like the guy though) who has taken power in a style worthy of a Star Wars character (one guess as to who).China has taken full control over SouthEast Asia and Australia has become a U.N. stronghold. Each of these governments possesses a SDI satelite and in the ensuing war several Nuclear missles are launched. The SDI's are activated only the missles have failsafes in them that dentonate the Nuclear Warheads in the upper atmospere. (I am gonna have to write this down as a fictional story) The resulting EMP (electromagnetic pulse) knocks out all technology knocking society AS WE KNOW IT into extinction. This is where my theory really begins but email me for it. (I have to write it down to get it straight.)
