I would say, it is obvious my son has good manners, I taught him to apologize when he is in error, at the moment he is not the one who is wrong, and walk away .

Look the woman straight in the eye and take my son away. I then tell him that he will run into people that were never raised with manners. I reassure him that he did the right thing by apologizing and to be more careful next time. I probably would them give him a hug because he is listening to what I have taught him

i would say that his apology should be good enough, and then demand one from her for calling my son a piece of filth.

I would tell the hateful *** that it was an accident and that he had already apologized once. Then I would tell her she needed to work on her manners instead of worry about everyone else's.
