Any clear thinking, discerning person who is prepared to look at the bare facts will tell you that the staged events of 9/11 were specifically done to cower your cowards. The Iraqis did not invade America. Why is the blatant truth so hard for you to digest?

Every time I get personally insulted and get called anti-American I know I have hit the nail on the head. Where is the plane that went into the Pentagon? OPEN YOUR EYES AMERICA. WAKE UP.

Really? If oil was the motive, why not invade an extremely oil rich country? Compared to other countries, Iraq isn't really pumping much oil. In fact, there is probably more oil in Alaska than in Iraq (but heaven forbid we pump there)...Besides, why would America need to advance her foreign policy if she is already a political heavy weight in the world?

I'm sorry that we have to be such a burden; being someone's conscience when consciences aren't needed in the politcal arena...I was rather surprised to read that after all of that effort, you never once directly addressed either my or my fellow poster's answers; if you are truly curious as to what we think, please do not quible about why we are wrong and you are right--just read what we say, and make up your mind based on the two opinions. And, I am sorry to say that you seemed to think that I am not thinking for myself. On the contrary, I've heard all kinds of political stuff---I simply look at the information that is available, and judge for myself what sounds correct...

I get a kick out of this one. However, despite your delusional banter, you contradict your previous assertions in other questions.

You called Condi Rice and the administration inept, however are you now claiming that they would have the secretive acumen to arrange a plot to inspire the American people into a war?

I want you to step back and think about this for a second. Have you heard the timeless adage "three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead?" This applies here. Given, arguendo, that your republican conspiracy is feasible, imagine the number of people that would have to know about it to properly execute it. In a day and age of 24/7 reporting, I'm going to say it's simply all but impossible to keep that a secret from the press. Besides, since the administration's so "inept", according to you, they probably would have accidentally bulk e-mailed their secret plans to [e-mail]!

As far as 9/11 being "staged"? I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. I'm just hoping the next terrorist attack will get you.

The Iraqi's did not invade America, but Saddam personally espoused war on the US. They agreed to surrender terms after invading Kuwait, and instead of following the terms of the surrender, took every chance to avoid UN compliance, including firing on airplanes patrolling the no-fly zone. The chemical and biological weapons that we know existed are now in Syria. We know this from documents found after the fall of Baghdad. We know that they were transported by airplane, even the dates and times of the flights, confirmed by General Sada of the former Iraqi Air Force. Did you see that on CNN? I did, on Fox.

Are you suggesting that a slightly crazy dictator with stockpiles of chemical weapons, who had relationships with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al Qaida, and a desire to damage the US, should have stayed in power, giving the opportunity to attack? Nope. We learned our lesson after 9/11. If you want to kill us, we want to stop you.

This kind of rhetoric kept Hitler in power for an extra five years, at the cost of millions in concentration camps alone.

9/11 was not staged.

Tell that to the families of the people who died. It's easy to target a group that has different beliefs than you from the internet, but you need to look at things on a real-life basis.

Besides, nobody said specifically that "iraq" was behind it. It was a group of organized terrorists. Flat out ignorant generalizations really don't make your argument any stronger.
