I love Yahoo Answers and similar forums. Every once in a while, however, I receive a scathing accusation regarding the unpleasant destiny of my soul. Of course, I don't care, but I put it to you, is what we do completely without purpose, value, or redemption? Or are we among those whose thoughts combine to eventually lift the soul, destiny, and status of others?
(I know. Deep. I'm in a mood.)

I, like you, have come to really enjoy looking on here to see what questions and answers people can come up with. No, I don't think that we're the irreverent damned, because Socrates once said that "The unexamined life isn't worth living", and I tend to agree. If we have the facilities to examine our lives and seek answers, why shouldn't we? Do I think that Yahoo!Answers takes the place of actual human interaction and conversation? Of course not, but we don't always have that luxury in life, especially when those we do have physically around us don't seem to enjoy discussing the things we do.

This is mostly a waste of time. Of course, I am addicted and frustrated when I hit my limit of answers. No one here knows where ones soul is going or if in fact there is a soul. We have faith that there is, but not hold it in your hand proof. I love this forum because I can help some people, make others laugh and tweek the noses of still others. Gives me something to do while I'm not doing whatever I should be doing. Grok?

do not take things personal and too serious. If you do not care that would mean that you care not to be care, then you still care. Be simply indifferent, just have your own interest in that game, do not blend it with interests of others and your Soul will be safe...Actually a Soul always safe, no matter what, it is vulnerability of ego makes possible attack or defense in many forms.

I think combined we help. Rarely do we all agree, but with the anonymity inherent in yahoo answers, what we say is usually very honest. We provide a well-rounded set of answers from several perspectives when we share our opinions/knowledge.
Let those that are narrow-minded or judgemental express themselves equally. They only hurt themselves really. Don't let them get to you.

Manfred, Steppenwolf, Zarathustra, Faust, Dorian Gray, Hamlet... Just creation and genius and persistence. With a lot of suffering. Would you have it any other way? Always the hard road dude.

The latter, yes; though I tend to pursue that aim precisely by pricking through people's illusions of purpose, value, and redemption.

the intent is genuine, the reactions are genuine but what we do her, for the most part, is essentially a verbal pissing match.
