Well, they are HER kids. Rebekah is actually the old way of spelling it and very pretty. Kortni is an odd spelling but it is a middle name so it shouldn't cause too much trouble for her. Linzee - no, I would go with Lindsey and keep the creative spelling for Morgin as the middle name. I don't like ReBecca - first names with apostrophes or capitals in the middle of them really aggravate me.

It's not your place to tell her how to spell the names. Frankly, I think hers look stupid, other than the Rebekah. Sure, it's unique, but it's annoying and makes her look like she can't spell.
And, the child will NEVER be able to find anything personalized with her name. Trust me, that's a letdown as a kid. When all the other kids have personalized pencils, they won't. When they have those little tourist license plates, they won't. And the child will constantly have to correct people - for the rest of her life. There's nothing worse than having a 6 year old spell her name out to you - it takes 5 hours and half the time they mess up.

Rebekah is beautiful...it's an old biblical name, and the way she likes it spelled is correct (in that case). Kortni...eh. No. I like Courtney better.
I'm with you on Lindsey (or Lindsay) Morgan.

Sorry... but it's not up to you! If she's asking your opinion, give it to her... but do not try and change her mind.
By the way, I like the spelling "Linzee" and the spelling "ReBecca" is absolutely disgusting! Might at well be LaFonda...

Well, I really think it is very dumb to intentionally misspell the name of your child. For the rest of that child's life, they will be told their name is spelled wrong..... or at the very least, they will have to TELL everybody how to spell their name. It's just insane.

Let them decide, they are the parents. When I was pregnant with Stephanie, my baby, it took me and my husband a long time to decide on the name Stephanie.

I really like the way you spell it, but it's not yours so let her spell it the way she wants to.

if the names are pronounced commonly, why make them harder to spell? the kid will have to correct people on the spelling their whole life. that's just silly. but its not your babes to mind your own business.
