It IS Revere Ware -called Liberation. It is the best set ever. I have had it for 9 yrs.
Want to buy some for future use. Not needing them, yet. The set I have is in almost perfect condition. I also have had the original heavy pans for 33 years and still going strong but love the Liberation line. Nothing sticks to these and it doesn't have the typical coating that you end up eating. Have looked at probably 50 stores. I bought them at Target in '99.

thats not revereware
revereware is good stuff
stainless steel with copper clad bottom and stainless lid with bakelite? handles that do not heat up
IMO nonstick coatings are a joke
they never last if you overheat or use metal untensils or a knife(which is impossible to avoid)
get a cast iron frypan...it will last forever, is indestructible and be nonstick if you season it...very even heating too

Check you J> C> Pennys catalog. Walmarts and any department stores. You could check thrift stores. alot of stuff is found there and unbelievable for the price.
