I grew up in a very small town, and my friends and I often had to come up with very creative things to do...
We would occasionally buy things from Wal-Mart and hand them out to people (balloons, bubbles, buttons, anything that wasn't too expensive to give away).
Also, we would take a camera around, take amusing photos (one of us sitting on Santa's lap, riding the merry-go-round at a park, etc.) and make scrapbooks.
Mostly, we'd end up somewhere and just wax intellectual about religion, politics, relationships, or other various topics. This was always my favorite because it was free, and created great memories.
If you are looking for something to do alone, I would suggest going for a run, getting out and talking to interesting people, or even visiting a nursing home or hospital. Take a deck of cards with you, invite people to join you for a card game.
I know it sounds cheesy, but it kept me occupied, and out of trouble, during my time in Small Town, USA.

Join the club....There is nothing to do here. Just stay inside and play on the PC and pertend you are somewhere's.....lol

that really sucks. I would say, either go on vacation to somewhere fun, or move to somewhere fun.
