At least you are open minded enough to ask the question. I like George Bush because he says what he means and means what he says. He is not afraid to take an unpopular stand if it is the best for the country. He has been painted as a stupid liar by his opponents but nothing could be farther from the truth. His IQ may not be as high as mine (165) but geniuses seldom make good leaders. After 9/11 the vast majority of the nation wanted him to take the action necessary to combat the terrorists. He has done just that, but the country has forgotten 9/11 and turned against him. He is a good man, a great leader and history will show this to be true.

Because he is the President of the United States. Show some respect. I can't stand how people think they have the right to criticize the President -- If you think you can do a better job, then run for President. Until you are the Command and Chief of the United States, I don't want to hear anymore of your crap. Below is a quote.
America has never been an empire. We may be the only great power in history that had the chance, and refused-- preferring greatness to power and justice to glory.
-George W. Bush
God Bless America

Well if you are pretty much a "hardcore democrat" then you lack the ability to actually have a discussion about issues. In order for everyone to learn we must listen, not run our mouths like idiots.

I think you may have stepped on some hardcore republican toes here. Our rights are disappearing one by one, and all these Bush lovers won't really see what's going on behind the scenes until it's too late. Then who's going to be whining? You'll see.
He tries to come off as an idiot, (like his sheep) to make himself look harmless, and downright likeable. He and his cronies have a hidden agenda, that we know very little about. World domination. Conservative, hah. Tell me he is conservative when he takes away something you believe in, john q. republican.

irrelevantpeople share your values and beliefs (whatever they may be). This is a democratic republic, remember?
GW Bush represents a portion of the population that are very conservative in their views of law, justice, and the economy. It is that portion of the population that supported him in his 2 election wins.
Republicans are generally conservative in their views on law and justice: pro-life, pro-liberty (less governmental control on private affairs), pro-justice (harsher sentences), pro-family values. GW represents that general ideal.
GW is unapologetic about his religious faith, and has taken a stand based on those convictions. That is also something appreciated by his constituency. We don't see democrats doing that; they seem to pander to their constituency, or whoever makes the most noise ("As far as the law is concerned, God is irrelevant!"--Senator Ted Kennedy).
There are lots of other reasons, but that is a good start.
