Eat lots of nutritious foods. Stay away from junk food that makes you get fatter and doesn't make you healthy. Eat lots of vegetables, fruit and whole wheat products. When the baby is resting, don't use that time to get your work done. Leave some of the work until you are back on your feet. When you have to get up every four hours to feed the baby, you should eat four meals a day... not big meals, or fattening stuff, but things that are good for you. That way, you will keep up your strength. And yes it really comes back, especially if you take good care of yourself.

eat a well balanced diet, sleep as much as possible (so when babe sleeps you should try to sleep too), continue with your vitamins and eventually your energy will return. I'd see a doctor though if you're really concerned as it could be low iron levels or something else. My youngest just turned a month old yesterday and I'm still a bit sluggish every now and then but for the most part my energy is back. Good luck and congrats!

Do not be awake unless the baby is awake. And accept help from whomever offers. And dont be afraid to ask for help, either. People want to be there for you right now, so let them. Yes, it gets better. After my first, I just cried every day and said "tomorrow will be better". Eventually, it will be. I didnt know it then, but I had postpartum depression. Talk to the doc, or call the nurse if you think it is possible for you. If it just an energy issue, relax. It gets better. Really!

I didn't do anything other than take vitamins and eat right. I think naturally you will have the energy you need to take care of the baby. And factoring in the lack of sleep, you probably end up with less than before, but your body learns to survive and adapt.

Just wait. Give yourself a few months to get a routine going and adjust to mommyhood. Also remember life will never be the same as it was before children. My daughter is now 18-months-old and I have to keep up my energy to keep up with her. She keeps me going and I want to eat better, exercise, and be healthy for her (as well as for myself).
