My favorite is stir of echoes. It's amazing. Second would have to be a tide between Amityville Horror and Exorcist.
Oh and I'm waiting for Rob Zombie's take on Halloween

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rob Zombie's movies. I also love both "Saw" movies. "May" is awesome, and so is "Hostel", and "The Hills Have Eyes" was pretty good. As you can probably tell, I'm a huge Lion's Gate Films fan.
As for older movies, "It" really scared me when I was younger because Pennywise the Clown messed with the people's minds and showed them their worse fears. "Nightmare On Elm Street" scared me for a very similar reason. People being in other people's minds really freaks me out.

I love It, and all other things Stephen King. I'd have to say that in a way, my favorite movie is The Grudge, because unlike most horror movies, it actually scared the sh*t out of me!!

The Fog remake, although not really horrifying and ending made no sense, but since I hate horror movies otherwise, this would be a winner.
