What do you mean strong cultural identity? Most Latinos in my community have no cutural identity. Very few do. My Latino friend is Costa Rican and she hates Mexicans because she thinks that they are low lifes. Some of my Mexican friends and family will not identify with being Mexican sometimes, because they feel that people will say things about them. Strong identity. Give me a break.

By forcing their host country to adopt their culture. In the race to be as politically correct as possible America has lost her identity.

They keep their culture. They might incorporate the American culture into theirs, to a certain extent, but they keep their cultures. You have to understand that they come here for a better future, not because they are not proud of who they are and their culture.
