always keep in mind that when you do procrastinate other people tend to feel the after afftects. you're always letting someone down and that feeling of letting someone down does not feel good. Let that be a motivation for you to move it along. every morning when i want to procrastinate i think about my boss and how dissapointed in me she has been in the past from me doing that so i make sure now to always be there when i'm supposed to be, and oh boy what a difference there has been.

Make a daily to do list with a few things you really want done.
You can promise yourself something good for everything that you get off your list. and it doesnt even have to be something expensive

For example:

If you get around to finally cleaning out the back seat of your car
you can buy yourself 10 extra minutes in the bookstore.

Or if you finally unload the dishwasher and put the dishes away
You can stop for a coffee

It works because then you look forward to getting the junk out of the way just to enjoy something.

When I find myself procrastinating, I just trick myself by thinking about other, more interesting things while I do what I have to. And then I'm done and I can go back to the other, more interesting things.

Try doing your work in intervals of 15. Work for 15min then stop for 15min. If that doesn't work then try a smaller number. Then gradually build yourself up.

Make a list for each day and don't go to bed until that day's tasks are done. Make the list realistic, however.
