They did not actually find it. But at the end of the book, robert Langdon catches where he *thinks* it's hidden: Under the two pyramids at the Louvre.

I read the Da Vinci code too and I'm pretty sure that they DID find the Holy Grail. I think, that was supposed to be the documents that they found in the tomb of Mary Magdalene. I hope this helps! I really liked this book even though it was kind of confusing!

The Holy Grail was Maria Magdalene who was depicted in the book as Jesus wife and making her the chalice the cup of Christ because of the royal blood line. So according to Dan Brown theory. I think you should reread it, I really enjoyed the book. The movie wasn’t that great it isn’t according to the book. I also recommend you to read “Angels and Demons” by Dan brown I like the Robert Langland character somewhat Indian Jones type, it is even better.

Okay, obviously alot of people didn't understand the book.... The holy grail was indeed a person, but it was the REMAINS of Mary Magdalene, the reason it was important to Sophie's bloodline is because it could prove that she was Jesus' descendant. It was implied that Langdon found it beneath the two pyramids at the Louvre, but it was not spelled out to us.

The Holy Grail was Sophie's bloodline... she was a direct descendant of Christ and Mary Magdaline. The Holy Grail was a "cup holding Christs blood" or "a uterus holding Christs bloodline" aka his child. The Holy Grail was a person, not a thing.

its ok. don't worry. the grail, as presented in the movie is symbolic. it was said that on the painting the last supper, there is a grail on jesus' right side. but there is none. instead, you see mary magdalene. the grail is mary magdalene. she is represented as a grail (a cup), symbolising the womb of the woman. so in the end, robert langdon went to the louvre's glass pyramid and knelt to the tomb of mary magdalene. because he had found the grail and that is mary magdalene herself. the grail is not an object but a person.
