i had been asking questions lately regarding my recent breakup with my gf ( she initiated) (the relationship lasted 26 mths). I LOVE HER DEEPLY extremely DEEPLY. however the hurting words she used ' i don't know if i still love you' really pierced me like crazy. i know her mind is now confused and all she wants is to get out of this confused state and be free from all this. But the fact that she made that remark , instills fear in me that she will never be back with me again. Right now we aint talking ( cool off period) but i feel the urge every night to hear her voice ( busy during the day) i still dream of her everynight and advice from people is that i should ignore her and go find new girls then she will feel the pain. also they told me to shower very much less concern to her than like how i used to before. they said this will get her to come back. how far is this true? anyone with success stories? or advice? pls tag. thank you

If you have a bird in the cage, set her free. If she comes back she is yours, and if she didn't, she was never yours.

give her tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime. and be patient....if you're willing to take a lot of **** for your love. if not, then go get a gf thats hotter than her... and go make her jelous. haha!!!!

A year ago, my boyfriend broke up with me (we had been going out for a little more than a year). I was heartbroken for a few months. It didn't help that I learned he had a rebound chick so soon afterwards too. I cried a LOT. It sucked. I got over it though by keeping myself busy and then I got myself a rebound guy (personally I think it is healthy) and I broke it off with him (he understood, plus we weren't THAT close). Around that time when I was almost completely over him, he wanted to get back with me. At the same time, I was interested in another guy, and I went through a very confused period...because on the one hand, my ex wanted me back saying that he never really wanted to break up with me and vowed to treat me like a princess and what not, and on the other hand, this new guy was in my life...he was exciting, the opposite of my ex, but I wasn't absolutely sure if he genuinely cared about me. In the end, I picked the new guy and I'm incredibly happy I did.

Just remember, if it wasn't meant to be, then it wasn't meant to be. Just walk ahead and don't look back. There are probably so many girls out there who can care more about you than she can. Just find them and give them a chance. ;)

Well i think the best thing you can do is wait ...wait till you are both ready to sit down and talk be honest with her about what you want ...if she cant agree with you then you have to just let it go there is nothing else you can do ..seeing new girls or doing things just coz u think it will make her come back will just lead to more problems and maybe she will even hate you ...do what will make you happy but never use her as the point of what you are doing

you love the girl right? give it 2 weeks and go after you true love. maybe she will come back. but if she doesn't there are plenty of fish in the sea. My grandma told me that there is always someone special out there for everyone.

When she does try to contact you, make the conversation quick. Tell her you dont really have time to chat cause you have a date. That will get to her.

yup, go find someone else who is worthy of your love. Nuttin' worse than being in love with someone who doesn't love you.....
