we will never get anything better unless you quit listening to the hype and go with a guy who has nothing to gain or lose by running for president .I personely would donate all of the money i made and refuse the retirement if any one would vote for me .THIRTY good accountants and me all sitting down and slashing the budget tax reform and banking reform at the top of the list . we need to fix and set our priorities in line with an eye towards growth and not just profit for huge companies that do not need assistance from the government .then get a working temporary program to cover the elderly and poor till we could provide decent care for all americans and this would be done by investing in building a strong american econmey that is not dependent on oil for all its needs.this is a start and i would only have prominent scientists and a couple of dozen research assistants .
we can end our dependence on oil in 5 years and commit america to a path of independence and freedom from groups like we have been screwing around with in the middle east .ROOSEVELT help start the great reforms of the 1930's and put men to work on projects america needed to make us stronger and today because of that many middle glass americans have the peace and security of owning a piece of land and a home but with riasing property taxes that dream may soon end soo property tax will go .WE will fund education and local services from revenue generated from ongoing projects that practicaly fund themselves .whe we get done doing whats best for america i will glady step back and walk away leaving it in the capable hands of local leaders who will be glad to help america once again if they get a fair shake ..

Our forefathers would not have wanted Ralph Nader, I'll tell you that.
Yes, the parties are merging a bit, but there's a good reason for that: this is the 21st century. Many things such as technology, capitalism, and gloablization are things that we cannot shy away from anymore. While the Democrats and Republicans would like to tear away at some of those subjects, the fact is you can't. This world operates off these things, the US cannot service without them. And therefore they must be common ground for both major political parties.

It's apparent you really don't understand politics if you think the 2 partys are the same, never before in the history of the USA has there been such a great divide between the 2 partys, liberalism runs rampant thru the democrats, while conservatism runs thru the republicans, Do you know the difference between the 2?

You must be a liberal, using that new math 1 + 1 equals 1.
There are differences, my guess is your problem is that your are frustrated by the Democratic party, but can't even consider voting Republican because you have been brainwashed.
Whenever anyone says something like you have it is always the case, you are so convinced that the other party is bad, that when you finally realize your party is bad, you think they are the same.
Cheer up, you have come a step forward, now open your eyes and see the truth, forget what you think you knew before.

You said it. It always has been a one party system. What is the real difference between Democrats and Republicans? They're all royal blooded Illuminati, set up to further the agenda of the New World Order. And no, the founding fathers were no better. They are just made to look that way.

Correction, that is a two party system. And my movie star governor is doing SO much better than that guy Grey Davis ever did. Hes getting us out of debt when all Davis did was piss away a 30billion dollar surplus a republican left him with.

right there with ya! I hope in my life time we have a 3rd party that actually can compete. But it takes money and lots of it. I actually had hopes that this generation would see through the BS and make a difference. So far I see them doing what mommy and daddy do though.:(

Part of th eproblem with Third Party candidates is that a lot of them are loony (George Wallace, Lyndon LaRouche, Ross Perot), so they can be easily dismissed.

They seemed the same to me until I got on this site. If you still think they're the same, then you must not be seeing what I see.
