Does anyone know how to take a stock radio out of a 1968 c-10 p/u...do you have to take out the whole dash ?

Wow thats goin back a few years.I seem to remember there were nuts under the knobs you removed then it dropped back into the dash and out the bottom.

Both of the previous answers are right but in the back of the radio there might also be a nut holding it in a bracket and then of course the wires unplug.Taking a radio out of a1968 vehicle is a very simple operation.

i belive you pull the front knobs and unscerew the nuts on the front and it should just slide out from the back
