Why do people answer questions by saying the question is stupid and a waste of time? If it's such a waste, why do they answer it?

Alot of you answered 'points'...the points don't do anything, they allow you to ask/answer more questions, that's it, so it does not make sense for someone to ***** about the question they are answering.

B: It was probably a stupid question, and if enough people tell the person that asked, maybe they will get a clue and not ask them anymore.

I suspect the ones who use the worst language are kids who are trying to show how smart they are, when in fact they aren't very smart or suave, or sophisticated.
