AIM is a Instant Messenger, and yes, you can use it on your cell phone with a subscription.
MySpace is basically a site that asks for a lot of personal info, and will most likely get you kidnapped within the year you post your profile....... (JK)
MySpace is only for people who are willing to post their information. AIM lets you chat with your buddies, and family. Personally, instead of getting a MySpace, get your own website.

They're two different programs anyway. AIM is an actual program you download and pick and choose obviously who you want to find you, same with MySpace but that's a website and more weirdos are able to find you.

aim is good for talking to one specific person right away. myspace is good for informing all of your friends at the same time, but it might take a little longer for people to recieve.
