Buy yourself a copy of the Highway Code - it has got all the road signs that will come up in your theory and practical driving test. It has also got loads of other information you will need to know now and in the future.

which country are you in? In america, rather than using international standards (as with just about every other international standard), they write whole stories on traffic signs. And aside from international signs, there are always some national differences..
