These days the thing that annoys me is all the God bashers. You know all the people who want to take the Christ out of Christmas. All the people who are offended by nativity scenes.Over 85% of Americans have faith in Jesus and we let the less than15% have a say over how we celebrate the Holiday.I thought this was a democracy.Instead atheists and groups like the ACLU are trying to take the things that made this country what it is away. Before anyone says that this country is bad or something is wrong with it just remember you have the right to say it.Christmas should stay Christmas and if people want to put a manger in a public place for a few weeks live with it.I just don't see what it would hurt.

1) People who get bent out of shape when I say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". I'm not Christian. Why should I be expected to say "Merry Christmas" any more than someone else should be expected to say "Blessed Solstice" to me?

"Happy Holidays" covers everyone, regardless of which holidays they are celebrating.

(Maybe I'll try that this winter - if someone says "Merry Christmas" I can reply "Blessed Solstice" and see what they say...)

2) People who think that the holiday was created by Christians instead of co-opted from Pagans, and don't understand why they're putting that tree up in their house or kissing under the mistletoe in front of the Yule log.

3) Hearing the "Feliz Navidad" song far too often...

I think the one thing that annoys me about Christmas, is the fact that some people think it's just about the gifts..
It's the one time of the year when families and everyone comes together and enjoys the holidays together.. But there are still those selfish people that are more concerned about getting an iPod or cell phone..

What annoys me.

1) the family bickering that doesn't even stop... no that gets worse in the holiday season.
2) the material focus that's slowly been invading Christmas.

but other than that, i love it. no, really i truly do--'cause all i have to do is tune the two things stated above and focus on the company of good people and the warmth we get to share at this time of year. Not to mention, it holds a religious meaning for me.

I'm so annoyed (to the point of being angry, actually) that people are losing the true meaning of Christmas, whine about it, but seem to leave it that way! Like, if they keep complaining, why not try to get it back? Why not stop all of the money-intentioned ads and such, get together, pray, be grateful and all of what is supposed to be done on Christmas? Christmas is about gifts, so why not be grateful for them, and even for other gifts? Like family? Happiness? A home? THAT'S what Christmas is, or at least should be, all about! In my family, it still is and I'm very grateful about it.

Thanks for reading! :)

The fact that my relatives always want to have arguments about religion and politics, and I'm extremely outnumbered.

The guilt trips, from relatives and others.

The endless Christmas carols.

The "war on Christmas" columns, news stories, etc. Um, 90 percent of America celebrates Christmas in some fashion!

The idea that if you don't go into debt, you don't love your relatives enough.

The way *everyone* has a "gift idea", even McDonald's!

I don't like it that Christmas begins in early October or sooner. There are Halloween decorations in some of the stores around here already! It's about 150 days to Christmas.....Just so you know.

I also get tired of hearing the same Christmas carols over and over again. My favorite radio station begins playing Christmas songs all day until Dec. 25 starting in early November. I get so tired of hearing the same songs all day long.

People forgetting the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of Jesus. It would be like a family member of mine forgetting the birth of my son. I worked at a company L.L. Bean. How many people are familiar with L.L. Bean? Its a fortune 500 company. They treated their employees like ****! They told us we couldn't say Merry Christmas. So much for thee 5th amendment. They also started seasonal employees with 3 points and if your kids got sick, or your car had to have a timing chain put in it, too bad. Cause if the points went so did the persons job. I hung in by a thread. Christmas time at Beans. That annoyed me. It annoyed me to do a great job for an ungrateful company that just chewed people up and spit them out. It further increased my furry to have our supervisor tell us we couldn't say Merry Christmas. I won't work or purchase anything from there again. There are so many more reputable companies that sell good quality items. Frankly their clothing line does nothing for me!

The fact that the ACLU and other organizations want to remove Christmas and all it stand for from stores, buildings, etc. including nativity scenes and Christmas trees, but they allow Jewish Menorrahs to stay. I have nothing against Jewish people but the Menorrah reflects their faith so why their's and not our's?! Many large stores like WalMart, etc. won't let their employees say Merry Christmas. They have to say Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays. Christmas wouldn't be "Christ"mas without Christ in it.

-How every radio station in the known universe as well as every mall plays the same stale christmas songs all the time the exact second Halloween is over.

-overcrowded malls

-Annoying relatives. No being cramped in a trailer while my whole family bickers back and forth is not my idea of fun.

-The fact every store closes early so if you run out of pepsi or toilet paper you're pretty much screwed and to drive allover town looking for a jew or muslim who doesn't believe in christmas but does believe in the almighty dollar and torques up his prices.

-Crappy old Christmas specials.
