Communications Degree,my gf's old roommate now does the weather in Casper, Wy. All she had was a Communications degree, but if you want to do it in a bigger city I think meterology or atmospheric sciences degree should get you there.

Probably most would require a BS in meteorology. An MS would be far better yet. A year or two experience would be a big plus as well.

usually good hair, good face, decent body that looks good in clothes, and ability to read a teleprompter. Meteorologists are rare and work at the very large stations. Good luck
