I have three wonderful teens, but one has gotten into trouble (to include some legal trouble, which will be okay IF there is no more trouble). But this kid doesn't seem to understand the gravity, nor seem willing to take full responsibility. The future, while I have great hope that there will be better choices, scares me.

I hate it when the phone rings, and i am wearing out emotionally.

I know I will survive this, but I would like suggestions on how to stay stronger, and remain strong for my other two kids. Thanks.

Try counseling, not just for the teen in trouble, but for yourself as well if you dont have anyone else to talk to. Its better to get help or to have someone to talk to then to feel so down and wear yourself out. Good luck!

Keep assuring yourself that you are a good parent.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a perfect answer to make troubled teens (what ever type of trouble they cause/get in to) shape up and LISTEN to the adults in their lives?

My husband and I just hope that in 10 years we get an appology from our 16 year old...
