What is truly wrong with John Cena?

I understand you all think he is a poser but his gimmick is a hip-hop one...and he may not be the greatest wrestler in the wwe but he is learning and not all of the greats ( HBK, HHH, etc) were perfect wrestlers in the beginning....In my opinion (and this guys: http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/columns/misc/neildimmick01.html ) , John cena does exactly what he is supposed to do...entertain us, the fans....so why does everyone hate him so much???? Please no smart @$$ answers

I GOTTA ADMIT IT, HE IS A GOOD WRESTLER, BUT HE ALWAYS DO THE SAME MOVES SO IT MADE THE FANS GET BORED OF HIS MOVES AND IN ORDER, I KNOW U SAID, HE DOES WHAT EXACTLY HE;S SUPPOSED TO DO,I THINK HE SHOULD CHANGE IT, NO ONE WANT TO BUY CD AND WATCH IT EVERY TIME JUST LIKE NO ONE WANT TO SEE CENA DOES THE SAME THINGS IN THE RING, SO IT'S GETTING BORED AND BORED THEN IT BECAME WORST...

A lot of people dislike Cena because he has been given a championship because he is popular with little girls and boys and that he has minimal wrestling skills. While it is true that HBK, Edge, HHH, Christian, etc., were not great wrestlers when they started; they also were not crowned champions until they were top wrestlers.

Cena is a champion contender because he sells merchandise. That is the only reason. Someday he may turn out to be as good as Edge or HBK, but it is more likely he will be a lame wrestler like the Rock or Hogan.

Well it goes all the way back to Wrestle Mania 22. Before the match started remember when he had that machine gun and started shooting it everywhere it was fake, and why would he do that?
Just to show off? Ya probably, and it looked very dumb. And during the match he was using his new made move STFU, which is a complete copied move of the Crippler Crossface by Chris Benoit. And Benoit is a respected wrestler. However, STFU hurts more than Crossface and is more effective (because Benoit struggles to do the Crossface but STFU is easy to do), so Benoit's special is now considered as nothing. So Benoit retired from WWE and that's whats wrong with Cena he copies peoples moves. FU originated from F5 a move by Brock Lesnar, Five knuckle shuffle is originated from Rowdy Roddy Piper's knockdown or killer punch. So Cena sucks!!!!

The reason why I don't like John Cena is because I feel like WWE is pushing him down my throat. When he first came to Raw last year, I was like "Great! That's awesome!" That was then... now it just seems like The John Cena Show. I almost miss HHH running the show (notice I said "almost"). I would just like to see him back up a bit and let someone else besides him and Edge run for the darn belt.
Overrall, I just have Cena overload. If they change him up a bit, I maybe, JUST MAYBE, start to be a fan of his again.

It's very simple. Young guys are extremely jealous of him. They dont' like the fact that girls and women like him; like he's a pretty boy so they boo him. I've seen 2 interviews with him and he seems very humble and cool like most of the wrestlers. Some say they hate the "wigger" thing but they didnt' mind it a while back when he didn't get so much female attention. They need to stop hatin and get dates.

The matches are scripted (very well known fact), so for someone to say he gets his *** kicked all of the time doesn't have a clue. That's how it's scripted. Just like Hulk Hogan has full rights to the outcome of his matches. Their goal is to entertain people. This isnt' real doofs.

actually Cena's gimmick has run its course. Now those same " Chain Gang" fans wanna see real wrestling. This is why TNA's ratings have skyrocketed. If john Cena could concentrate on wrestling and not his horrible rap career, he could be considered a true wrestler and not just a "entertainer".

-Many people including myself HATE the "wigger" gimmick and everything it represents
-Cena repeatedly gets his @$$ kicked in every match and then comes back with 5 moves and wins the match
-I sense that he is trying too hard to be like austin/rock
-WWE has much more deserving wrestlers that should get a push instead of Cena always being on top

I think it's the whole gimmick crap. Personally I don't like him cos he's a poor wrestler and people are getting bored of entertainment and wanting new, fresh WRESTLING. Swithing to TNA for example.

i think cena is just terrible i kno his "gimmick" is to try to be street but hes not all im saying is cena needs to go to wrestling school and stop listening to vanilla ice and earlier i asked who thinks cena is dumb and ppl got mad at me and it didnt take me a whie to realize all those ppl who got mad were girls and if u read all this thank u 4 ur time

You guys take things personally as we all know it is scripted and that's how it is supposed to be. it is not Cenas fault that Vince doesn't let him use other moves

you listed every reason why i hate john cena, for me thats enough to hate him. he cannot wrestle whatsoever, sure he has ok mic skills but id rather watch wrestling than a promo.


I hate him because everyone likes him for the wrong reason, not because he can wrestle(which he cant), not because he can use a mic. but because to women hes a sex object and to young kids he's "cool"
