Sumbit Your Site to a Search Engine!?

Question

How to sumbit my site/ store to a search engine? How Often should i sumbit it? And about how long does it take to be on the search engine!? Please serious answers please!!

Different search engines have functionalities that would allow users to submit sites for free. How it usually works is, you would need to browse to the category in which you want your site to appear. There will be a submission link somewhere on that page to let you submit your site. It usually takes a week or two for your site to appear on the search engine though. Once it is submitted, you don't have to submit again. However, what most search engines do is, they would cache your web page. If you don't want the search engine to cache your page, you would need to do something on your end to not allow that to happen.

I personally used a firm (link below) that did a 250,000 site submissions for my site. It worked great. But, results now take a few months.

Also, Best to get some FREE trial software to NOT only get listed, but, get high on the search engine results.

As knitting_guy_one has answered this question very nicely, i would like to add that, there are so many softwares available on the internet which can help you in submitting websites automatically to almost all the search engines.

Internet Business Promoter is one such kinda software, well if you search on GOOGLE or some download sites, you will be presented with so many softwares.
