indoor/outdoor carpet or low end floating laminate flooring costs between 150 to 350 bucks for that size room,if wall studs are exsposed drywall and paint cost about150 bucks, paneling cost about250 bucks for the cheaper stuff, drop ceiling cost about 200 bucks, so for under 1000.00 bucks you can do a nice job, and yes if you are fairly handy you should be able to do it yourself,you may need a little help holding some things in place while nailing or securing but not much.

get some indoor/ outdoor artificial turf for the floor, paint the walls cool colors, get posters of whatever your into.....add games and viola! instant game room!!!

Do it yourself??? probably $400 to $600. Have it done??? probably $1200 to $1500.
