do you wish someone Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas depending on the holiday season? And why? Is it for PC's sake....do you think this has gotten a little out of control with all this Political Correctness? Or do you think religious holidays should be neutral in the office. Hence..."Happy Holidays"

I feel you on the whole PC thing. It appears to have taken a life of it's own. That being said, I do believe in being courteous and being genuine to your fellow man by offering good wishes. It would be best to use the neutral Happy Holidays cause you never know if they are Jewish, Christian or they celebrate Kwanzaa. I'm old fashioned but you have to adapt to the game..

That's just crazy saying happy Holidays! I think you should be able to say Merry Christmas! There again they are trying to take God out of Christmas! He is and should be the reason there is christmas!

Soon our christmas trees will be called holiday tree?? How many would go with that? It's just crazy, and I will continue saying Merry Christmas, because it is a time to celebrate Jesus' birth.

I know most religions of the people I work with so I am bound not to offend anyone.

Depending upon the religion I will wish a happy "christmas/haunauka/quanza" ect.

My office does the same, there is a sign on the front lobby that says Happy Chrismahaunkaquanza every year so its all good lol.

I say Merry Christmas -even to those who I KNOW do not believe in Christmas such as Jehovah's Witnesses.
They don't go around stepping on egg shells for me - so why should I do it for them?
I believe in Christmas and I say Merry Christmas - if they don't like it - OH WELL

And you are 110% right. This Political Correctness is getting out of hand!
When my daughter was 4, they taught her that Santa Claus was REAL even though I tought her different. I tought her the REAL meaning of Christmas. It was hard convincing her otherwise.
The world is so secular now.

If I know my customer is Jewish, I wish them a Happy Hannukah, otherwise, since I'm a Christian and the majority of my customers are Christian, I wish them all Merry Christmas.

I think everone should just say what they want and others shouldnt take it offensively, after all, they are just wishing them a happy greeting.
