If she consistently spilled cocoa in bed, this hints at passive-aggressive behavior. If she consistently insisted that you sleep on it, perhaps there were deeper issues of control between the two of you. Perhaps she awakened your childhood abandonment issues as well. Who wouldn't feel desperate at such an outrageous treatment? Of course you were right to leave. Wink-wink.

Was it only the fact that she split cocoa in the bed that you broke with her? Or was it just like they say the straw that broke the camels back!
I think everything happens for a reason, and if her spilling in the bed and then having to sleep in it made you that upset then yes you did the right thing.

You left your ex because she made you sleep on the wet side of the bed... okay I've heard it all now. Ummmmmm if she spilled it don't you just change the sheets or put towels on the wet patch until it drys.... that sounds like an immature reasons to split up with your girl/boy friend

No, you were not right. Splitting for such a superficial reason shows a lack of respect for her...right after you just made cocoa together. If that's *really* the reason you broke up, you are not ready for a mature relationship.

I'm answering this q mainly cos I loved Phil N's answer, and I wanted to tell him so. Anyway, liking these daft questions TQM. Cocoa is a very superior choice of bedtime drink in any case.

Yeah you were right to split, just shows you what a 'selfish' person she is making you sleep on the wet side of the bed when it should have been her sleeping there....lol

You spill it, you sleep in it - that's the way it goes at home (that goes for cocoa or anything else)

Too right you should have and I bet you made the cocoa for her to what a selfish cow, it could have been worse she could have made you sleep with the cookie crumbs !!!

Nope, you should have spoken with her about it. If the issue could not have been resolved, a more practical approach of switching bedsides would have made the point quite effectively.

Yes but it was also you who made that happen. You should of both took turns or better yet get a towel but I guess it is too late now.
